How to Clean Sex Toys Before Storage
The most important storage rule is never store a toy that hasn't been cleaned. Bacteria and residue from use will degrade materials and create hygiene risks for next use.

Non-Porous Materials (Glass, Stainless Steel, Hard Plastic)
Wash with soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly. These materials can also be boiled (glass and steel) or run through the dishwasher (no soap) for complete sanitization. Dry completely before storing.
100% Silicone
Soap and warm water, rinse well. Can also be boiled briefly (no electric components) or wiped with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Let air dry completely before storing in individual pouches.
Soft TPE and PVC
Soap and cool water only β these materials degrade with hot water and alcohol. Pat dry and allow to air dry completely. These materials are porous and cannot be fully sanitized β condom use is recommended for shared use.
Rechargeable/Battery Toys
Wipe clean β never submerge unless explicitly rated as waterproof. Charge to approximately 50% battery before long-term storage (not 100% or 0% β both degrade lithium batteries). Store with the power switch in the off position.
