After Every Use
Wipe vinyl/PU surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap. Inspect attachment points for any loosening. If you use restraints attached to the furniture, check the connection hardware for wear. Air the piece out for 30 minutes before covering or storing.
Monthly
Deep clean all surfaces with a sex-safe disinfectant. Check all bolts and tighten any that have loosened. Inspect padding for tears or separating seams. For real leather, apply conditioner. For steel frames, check for rust where the powder coat has chipped.
Annually
Disassemble pieces with many connection points and inspect hardware for wear. Replace any bolt showing thread damage or corrosion. Inspect welds (steel) and joints (wood) for hairline cracks.
Storage
Store in a climate-controlled space. Humidity damages wood frames and promotes rust on metal. Cover with breathable fabric, not plastic. Never stack other objects on padded surfaces — compression causes permanent deformation in foam over weeks.
