A walk-in closet (roughly 5x8 ft) is ideal. It's already lockable, hidden from guests, and designed for storage. Clear the clothes to a second closet or seasonal storage.

You now have a dedicated space with:

• Door that locks
• Walls for mounting (if renting, removable options)
• Existing lighting infrastructure
• Privacy from the rest of your home

This is the easiest DIY sex room conversion available.

Standard Closet Constraints

A standard bedroom closet (roughly 3x4 ft) is smaller but still functional. You won't fit large furniture, but you can fit:

• ASSTRONAUT chair (roughly 24x18 inches), fits with space to spare
• Under-bed restraint system (hidden along closet rod)
• Waterproof blanket (hung or folded)
• Storage for soft items

It's tight, but the principle is the same: dedicated, hidden, lockable space.

• Clear shelves of non-essentials. Move seasonal clothing elsewhere.
• Install under-bed restraint straps along one wall (removable command strips work perfectly).
