How to Clean a Sex Room: Surfaces, Furniture & Routine

How to Clean a Sex Room

A clean play space is a safe play space. Bodily fluids on shared surfaces create real STI transmission risks, and material degradation from improper cleaning shortens the life of expensive furniture.

Immediately After a Scene

Wipe all contact surfaces with a 10% bleach solution or a sex-toy-safe enzymatic cleaner. Leather and faux-leather wipe clean easily; fabric surfaces need a spray cleaner and may require occasional steam cleaning.

Furniture Cleaning by Material

Vinyl/faux leather: Damp cloth with mild soap. Avoid alcohol on colored vinyl. Real leather: Leather-specific cleaner and conditioner. Wood frames: Mild soap and water. Check for splinters annually. Metal hardware: Inspect for rust. Stainless is fine; chrome will eventually pit.

Flooring

Sealed concrete or vinyl plank: mop with a disinfectant cleaner weekly. Area rugs: spot clean with enzymatic cleaner, steam clean monthly if used regularly.

Air Quality

A small HEPA air purifier running during and after scenes handles odor and airborne particles. A room that smells neutral is a room that's properly clean.
